It’s been a month or two since I last opened Things on my MacBook Pro. Turns out I had just one outstanding to-do item on my list. I’m sad I didn’t get to call her once more before she left. Miss you lots, Grandma.
Happy Mothers Day. [via]
I feel incredibly blessed for not having the time to blog as of late. I know that sounds really bizarre, but there are some amazing things that are happening all around me, and I am so excited to be a part of them.
Lindsay and I are busy planning our wedding, which is going to take place in late July of this year. You can follow along on our new wedding site.
In addition to wedding planning, there’s plenty of other things that are being worked on as well. The honeymoon, searching for a new apartment, fun freelance projects… the list goes on.
And, Parliament is thriving. I love waking up every morning and heading to work. How many people get to say that? Not enough.
Yes, it’s stressful at times. Yes, I have no idea how a lot of things are going to turn out. Yes, I often wish I would get more sleep. But, above all, there’s one thing I am happy to be forgetting the feeling of: boredom.
I am sitting in the Pioneer Square mall right now, waiting for Lindsay to get off of work. After visiting both Starbucks inside of this place, I discovered that neither of them have any power outlets available for their paying customers to use. How convenient! So, instead I am sitting on a bench next to a planter box that happens to have a hidden outlet. A security guard came by and told me that while he didn’t care, I wasn’t supposed to use it and could technically get in trouble if someone who did care happened to see me. Thank you Mr. Security Guard, for turning a blind eye to my electricity stealing.
Anyway, people watching never ceases to entertain me. While I in no way claim to be a fashion expert or someone who is particularly well-dressed, I can’t believe what some people choose to wear out in public. Yikes…
My childhood hero.
